A few months ago, in July, my parents were here and we went to visit my friends, Sulaiman (previously Simon), Yasmine and kids who live in the mountain of al-pujarra, on the southern terrain of Sierra Nevada range, South Spain. It was a pure magical oasis... a abode of solace.

They live self-sustain; grow their own vegetables and herbs, produce their own olive oil, have their own natural spring water, use solar panel and wind turbine for energy. There was no TV nor radio. Internet connection obtained via wireless signal from a public transmitter situated on a nearby hill.
Brother Sulaiman is a Khalifah (authorised teacher) of PSSGM and the founder of Gayong Espana. He teaches the traditional Malay martial art as well as Islamic archery at his place which he named 'Gelanggang Kuda Gila'.

BBQ

Yesterday, Malaysian Society of Reading, Berkshire (residents, students and short-term stay Petronas staff) had a BBQ session near the Whiteknight Lake at Reading University. It was great fun, especially when it rained...hehehhehe...

Final was held at the Broad St Mall yesterday. My princess was in but didn't win... though a few mums came to us and said that our little princess should have won. Well... no comment, better luck next time. Anyway, we had fun... and that was the main point.
